Hi Box Office Collection Day 2: Nayanthara’s Film Witnesses 72% Jump With Strong Word Of Mouth
Nayanthara had two releases this week of two completely different genres- Toxic and Hi. While Toxic registered a recording breaking opeing day collection of over 100 crore, Hi started slow. While Toxic saw a downward trend from day 2, Hi picked up pace at the box office. Nayanthara and Kavin’s romantic drama has witnessed a surge in collections on day 2, driven by strong word of mouth.
How Much Did Hi Earn At The Box Office In 2 Days?
On day 2, Nayanthara‘s sweet romantic film earned 2.15 crore net at the Indian box office against 856 shows. The film saw a 72% increase over its opening-day collection of 1.25 crore. The makers also got 80 more shows on day 2 than on opening day. The occupancy rate of the film also went up to 43% rom 33% on day 1. The net total of the film after 2 days stands at 3.4 crore, which equals 4.01 crore gross in India.

Trails Mana Shankara Vara Prasada Garu By 94%
Hi marks Nayanthara’s fourth release of the year. She was earlier seen in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad (Telugu), Patriot (Malayalam), and Toxic (Kannada). All three films performed far better than Hi at the opening weekend. Compared with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad, the Chiranjeevi-starrer collected 60.35 crore at the box office in India over two days, including preview shows. In comparison, Hi trails the film by 94%.

Directed by Vishnu Edavan, Hi stars Nayanthara and Kavin in the lead. The film also stars K Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Radhika, Sathyan, Adithya Kathir, and Kureishi, among others. Hi is being jointly produced by Zee Studios South, The Rowdy Pictures, and Seven Screen Studios. The film, which boasts a strong technical team, will have music by Jen Martin and cinematography by Rajesh Shukla. Editing for the film will be by the capable Philomin Raj, and art direction by Shekhar B. Dances in the film will be choreographed by Brinda, while stunts will be performed by Dinesh Kasi.
