The new mythological adaptation for Ramayana unveiled its first trailer for the world to see. We first got a glimpse into the universe created by Abhishek Singh with the release of the teaser trailer a few weeks back.

The trailer takes us deeper into the narrative, showing us some more stellar performances by the cast members. The ensemble of actors and actresses includes Dev Sharma (Ram), Anjali Arora (Sita), Rajniesh Duggall (Ravana), Sheel Verma, and Nirbhay Wadhwa, among many others.

The team is going all out with regard to portraying the story, beginning from Ram marrying Sita, to their journey to the forest, the encounter with Ravan, all the way to the final conclusive battle. Beautiful moments leave speckles of wonder and an everlasting wonder of what’s to come. The sound design under the music direction of Dev Chauhaan and Ashish Donald perfectly complements the visuals on screen.

Produced by Prakash Mahobiya and Sanjay Bundela, Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha is another adaptation in the race to narrate the tale of the epic. Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana will also be released later this year on November 8, 2026.

This movie will feature big names like Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Ravie Dubey, among many others. As loud as the buzz that surrounds the film, a lot of controversies linger with respect to Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Ram. To this, Ravie Dubey came in support, stating his impact on the film and the cast and crew involved. The years seems rich with mythological adaptations with much to look forward to.
