In July, actor Ram Charan underwent successful surgery for a right wrist injury at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore. He had sustained a cartilage tear while filming wrestling sequences for his film Peddi. It was a complex procedure, following which he underwent a structured rehabilitation programme.

The Mega Power Star has now reached a key milestone in his recovery. Medical professionals have successfully removed his cast and wrist rods. While Dr Praveen conducted the procedure, Dr Rajasekaran and Dr Sabhapathi guided the process.

It was in May that the RRR actor was diagnosed with a sports-related triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tear. His condition worsened, requiring medical intervention after initial non-surgical treatments failed to resolve the issue. Underwent minor medical procedure

A few months ago, he underwent a minor medical procedure on his eyelid after sustaining an injury while shooting for Peddi in Hyderabad. His father, Megastar Chiranjeevi, publicly expressed deep gratitude to the physician for his precision and care. While that surgery affected the shooting schedule to some extent, the recovery phase for his wrist has been a longer one.

Recently, Ram Charan began a physical transformation for his upcoming project, tentatively titled RC17, directed by Sukumar. Transitioning from his bulked-up physique in Peddi, the actor is adopting a special diet and workout regimen to lose weight and achieve a leaner look for the role. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, the action entertainer may hit cinemas in 2028.
