Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan paid tributes to Murali Naik. The young soldier was killed in cross-border shelling at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.  

 

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan paid tributes to Murali Naik who was martyred a couple of days ago during the ongoing escalating tensions at the border. Pawan, along with IT Minister Nara Lokesh visited the brave-heart’s house and lauded services and sacrifices of Murali Naik. Expressing grief over the loss, Pawan stated that the state government will initiate all the necessary steps towards taking care of Murali Naik’s family. The actor-politician stated that the government has announced a compensation of Rs 50 lakh & 5 acre of land, 300-square-yard plot to the soldier’s family.

“We will also initiate a bill in the cabinet to see to it that if any members of the family would get a government job,” said Pawan Kalyan. On the other hand, he also personally donated Rs 25 lakh from his own funds to the family of the young soldier. “It’s very unfortunate and we hope that such tragedies won’t ever come again,” he expressed.  Actress Lavanyaa Tripathhi paid tribute to the young soldier who was martyred. Her post read, “We are forever grateful for your service, our deepest respect and gratitude.” Several other celebs paid tributes and expressed that the supreme sacrifice of the soldier in the line of duty will never be forgotten by the country.


Murali Naik, a 25-year-old soldier from Satya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh, was killed in cross-border shelling at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. He was stationed in the tense region when Pakistan launched unprovoked heavy artillery and mortar shelling following India’s Operation Sindoor. Naik belonged to the 851 Light Regiment. He is the only son of agricultural labourers. Leaders from across party lines condoled Murali Naik’s demise in the line of duty.
