Ahan Shetty, son of Bollywood star Suniel Shetty, is reportedly all set to take on an action-packed role in his next film. Ahan made his acting debut in 2021 with Tadap, a romantic action drama that featured Tara Sutaria opposite him. The film introduced him as a promising newcomer with a strong screen presence.

Now, as per media buzz, Ahan is expected to headline a new action-drama film. The yet untitled project is said to be directed by popular Bengali filmmaker Birsa Dasgupta and produced by Shibasish Sarkar and Ribhu Dasgupta. This movie is expected to go on floors in October 2025. According to some reports, the film is set to be an intense action drama, marking a new phase in Ahan’s career. The female lead has not been finalised yet, but casting is underway, and an official announcement is likely to be made soon.

This upcoming project will also be Birsa Dasgupta’s debut in Hindi feature films. While this marks his first full-length Hindi movie, Birsa is no stranger to the space, having earlier directed web series like Mafia, Black Widows, and The Magic of Shiri. His experience in storytelling and visual flair has raised expectations for this collaboration.

Ahan’s film lineup seems to be expanding quickly. Apart from this actioner, he has already signed Border 2, a much-anticipated sequel which is expected to hit theatres next year. He is also working on a romantic drama directed by Shaad Ali.
