Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who is popular for playing the character of Lily in the sitcom Modern Family, has come out as bisexual. She shared the news on social media and used one of Lily’s iconic dialogues to make the announcement. She lip-synced to the scene where Lily says, “I am Gay!”

For the uninitiated, in the scene, Sofia Vergara’s character Glorai tells Lily, “You are Vietnamese”, to which the young girl says, “No, I am not, I am gay! I’m gay!” Her character said this because her fathers, Mitchelle and Cameron, were gay, which is why she thought that she is gay as well. The scene remains iconic as it raises awareness about homosexuality and how it is not a problem in a hilarious way.
