Shah Rukh Khan to Work With Pushpa Filmmakers
Ever since the Pushpa series struck a chord with audiences nationally, producers Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni had ambitious plans. Buoyed by the super success of the Allu Arjun-starrer, the makers also bankrolled the Hindi action thriller, Jaat, starring Sunny Deol. According to sources, the latest we hear is that the production house is aspiring to make a Hindi film with Shah Rukh Khan.

High-budget Film With Shah Rukh Khan
While the film with Sunny Deol was a high-budget action drama, the producers have ambitious plans to bankroll a bigger film with Shah Rukh Khan. According to sources, the makers have met SRK recently, and the actor too was happy to associate with them given their illustrious track record. While the superstar hasn’t exactly given any timeline of dates to the filmmakers, they are hoping that things would materialize soon. “The meeting was a successful one, and both got familiar with each other. A few ideas, and director names too were exchanged. But it’s premature to comment about their collaboration at this point of time,” informs a source. At one point, the producers even planned a film with Hrithik Roshan. They had even met the superstar but things did not materialize and the project has been kept on the backburner. However, sources say that Mythri Movies is confident that the project will be revived soon after Hrithik completes his current film commitments.
Successful Track Record
Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni have produced many blockbusters like Srimanthudu with Mahesh Babu, Janatha Garage starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan-starrer Rangasthalam and Uppena featuring Vaishnav Tej. “Since all the production house’s films are being made on a Pan India level, and with south films getting traction in the Hindi belt too, the producers are dreaming big,” shares a source close to the production house.
