The auspicious festival celebrates the bond between siblings, and Bollywood celebrities are marking the occasion with heartfelt posts, rare throwback pictures and family celebrations. Several stars took to social media to share photos with their brothers and sisters, along with messages about their bond.

Alia Bhatt shared two adorable photos with her sister Shaheen Bhatt and wrote, “Ghar” in Hindi.

Ananya Panday put up a rather quirky post. She shared a selfie on Instagram’s story section and wrote, “Waiting to get my Rakhi present” and tagged her cousin, actor Ahaan Panday. She later shared a caraousel with Ahaan and others, giving a glimpse of her Rakhi celebration.

King actor Abhay Verma shared photos with his brother, while the two were seen on a video call with their sister. He wrote, “Our constant. Our blessing. Our sister. Happy Rakhi Dii.”

Arjun Kapoor shared a collage of photos featuring his sisters Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor. Sharing the pictures, he wrote, “Blessed with the best, Happy Rakhi.”
