Ranbir Kapoor’s first look from Love & War is finally here. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated period drama stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. The film has been generating buzz since its announcement, with fans waiting for a glimpse of Bhansali’s latest directorial venture. Now, the filmmaker has finally unveiled Kapoor’s look from the film.
Bhansali Productions shared the actor’s character poster on Instagram. In the poster, Kapoor can be seen behind the wheel of a car, with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hanging outside the window. The latter is covered in blood. He wears a T-shirt, sunglasses, and a moustache.
Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “Woh rutba, woh raub, woh junoon! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on 21st January 2027. See you at the movies!”

Love & War brings Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt together with Vicky Kaushal for the first time in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. The film is billed as an epic saga set against the backdrop of war and marks Kapoor’s reunion with Bhansali nearly two decades after his acting debut in Saawariya (2007). It also marks Bhansali’s first collaboration with Vicky Kaushal, while Alia Bhatt reunites with the filmmaker after Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022).
Love & War is scheduled to release worldwide in theatres on January 21, 2027, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
