
Ranbir Kapoor Cuts Short Alia Bhatts Birthday Celebration Returns To City To Meet Ayan Mukerji
Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji share a very deep bond with each other, both on the professional and the personal front. When the filmmaker’s father Deb Mukherjee passed away today, Ranbir was one of the very first celebrities to visit Mukerji.
He was in Alibaug to celebrate his wife, actress Alia Bhatt’s 32nd birthday. The couple went there yesterday but returned to the city today as soon as the news of Ayan’s father’s death broke.

Ranbir, Alia and their daughter Raha were clicked by the shutterbugs as they returned to Mumbai. Ranbir was about to take Raha out of the car but upon seeing the paparazzi, he left the little one with Alia inside the car and he walked towards another car. Later, Ranbir was clicked once again when he reached Ayan’s house.
Ranbir and Ayan worked on the films Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. It was only yesterday when Ranbir confirmed that he will be collaborating with Ayan once again for Brahmastra Part Two.

Actress Kajol, Ayan’s cousin was also seen entering his house to be with him in his time of distress.
Ayan Mukerji’s father Deb Mukherjee passed away at the age of 83. As per reports, he breathed his last at 9.30 am today. He was unwell and hospitalized for quite some days. His funeral is scheduled to take place at 4 pm today, at Pawan Hans Crematorium, Mumbai.
Deb Mukherjee acted in popular movies like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Abhinetri, Ek Baar Muskura Do, Aansoo Ban Gaye Phool, King Uncle, Kaminey and Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki. He died due to age-related ailments. While the cause of death is unconfirmed, it is believed to be cancer.
