Actors Kartik Aaryan, Sreeleela, and filmmaker Anurag Basu, who are currently shooting in Sikkim for their upcoming film, recently met Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence. The CM welcomed them warmly, extended his best wishes for their project, and expressed his gratitude for choosing Sikkim as their filming location. During their meeting on Tuesday night, he assured them of the state government’s full support to ensure a smooth shooting process. As a gesture of appreciation, he also presented them with traditional gifts.

Sharing the moment on X (formerly Twitter), the Sikkim CMO posted a picture of the team, with Kartik dressed in a white T-shirt, brown jacket, and jeans, Sreeleela in a striking red outfit, and Anurag in a red shirt and denim. The caption read, “It was a pleasure to meet Bollywood filmmaker Shri Anurag Basu and renowned actors Mr Kartik Aaryan and Ms Sreeleela at my official residence, Mintokgang. They have been in the state for a week, shooting their upcoming film at iconic locations such as MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. Anurag Basu, speaking on behalf of his team, expressed his gratitude to the CM for his encouragement and acknowledged the unwavering support they had received from the state government. He also extended a special thanks to the Sikkim Police for ensuring their safety, which allowed them to complete their work smoothly. For Sreeleela, this was her first time in Sikkim, and she was absolutely captivated by the state’s breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality, calling it a truly unforgettable experience.

The team has been filming in Sikkim for the past week, capturing its stunning beauty at locations like MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. Their yet-to-be-titled film not only highlights the region’s picturesque scenery but also brings attention to Sikkim as a welcoming and film-friendly destination. Their visit has left a mark on both the actors and the locals, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
