For Vishnu Manchu, Kannappa is his dream project. A lot of years went behind the making of his big ticket film based on the legend of Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva. In this exclusive interview, Manchu dives deep into the making of the mythological epic. He reveals that he has put everything else on hold until Kannappa’s release.

This film is a full-circle moment for his family, too. His father Mohan Babu plays a key role, his young son Avram (who wanted to be on screen since he was 2) also features in the film and his twin daughters have lent their voice for one of the tracks in Kannappa.
