Welcome To The Jungle Shoot Paused Post Pahalgam Attack Not Due To Payment Issues

Following the Pahalgam massacre that claimed 26 lives, India’s film fraternity rallied together in mourning. Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Sunny Deol, Vicky Kaushal, Sonu Sood, Mammootty, Kareena Kapoor Khan and many others voiced their grief on social media, tagging Prime Minister Modi and demanding swift justice. It was this same spirit of unity that prompted the film’s producers to postpone filming, not of financial insecurities, but as an expression of respect and safety for all involved in the shoot.
Production insiders confirm that the shoot will recommence once the monsoon season abates and new permissions are cleared. While Kashmir is off the table, the crew is exploring alternate locations to recreate Pahalgam’s ambience post-rains. All 34 actors, from Raveena Tandon and Paresh Rawal to Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez, are standing by schedule ready.
Directed by Ahmed Khan and penned by Farhad Samji, Welcome to the Jungle follows police officers Jay Bakshi (Akshay) and Sandhya on a mission to track notorious criminal Raj Solanki. As the chase leads them into the wilderness, revelations about Jay’s connection to Raj shake the narrative.
