Ranveer Singh Gears Up for The Immortals of Meluha Adaptation Post Dhurandhars Success
The media platform has further reported that the book The Immortals Of Meluha by Amish Tripathi will be adapted and the makers are beginning the writing stage. The report states, “Ranveer has been passionate about bringing Meluha to the big screen for a long time now. The acquisition happened recently, and the project is now officially under development. Makers are approaching the franchise as a long-term cinematic universe and the plan is to tell the story over 3 films. The writing work has already begun, and the team is taking its time to crack the screenplay and world-building. The first part is expected to go on floors in 2028.”
Will Ranveer take up a role in the trilogy? As per the report, the actor is scheduled to play the role of Lord Shiva. “The director will only be locked once the script work reaches a certain stage. Right now, the focus is entirely on developing the material,” the report further adds.
On the professional front, Ranveer is also collaborating with Aditya Dhar again. Moreover, he will star in Pralay, directed by Jay Mehta. The shooting for the same is scheduled to begin in August 2026.
