Hanuman Ansh Finally Gets a Telugu Release
After some back-and-forth, Hanuman Ansh, the Hindi film sensation, is finally set for a Telugu-dubbed release. The biographical film, starring Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand, will reach theatres on October 9.
The release carries weight for one big reason. Hombale Films, the production house behind the KGF duology, the Kantara franchise and Salaar, is presenting the Telugu version. That name lends the film credibility with exhibitors, and a prominent share of theatres can be expected. This is despite the film arriving about two months after its Hindi original.

Expected to find huge audience interest
A large section of the Telugu moviegoing audience has already heard about its staggering run. It reportedly earned Rs 400 crore against a budget of just Rs 2 crore. Many viewers want to watch it on the big screen, going by the online buzz. Past experience points in the same direction. Kantara had a 15-day gap between its Kannada original and its Telugu-dubbed release, and it still found a huge audience.

Production house’s backing adds credibility
Hombale Films’ Vijay Kiragandur is no stranger to Hanuman Ansh. The banner was already associated with the film as its international distributor. After the overseas rollout, the regional release will be interesting to watch.
The Telugu version is the first regional dubbed release for Hanuman Ansh, marking a new phase in the film’s journey. The Hindi run has been remarkable in itself. The film survived the arrival of Yash’s Toxic in the second week of its release in the Hindi market and continued to maintain its momentum.
In Telugu, the timing looks favourable. The film is coming out ahead of the Dasara festival season, when audiences throng theatres. The clash with Venkatesh’s Aadarsha Kutumbam, a family-friendly thriller, may not be much of a factor, as the two films are quite different in their appeal.
